Short version: dalo reads deal prices on quick commerce platforms you browse. We do not collect, store, or sell any personally identifiable information. Your browsing data never leaves your device except to power your own deal tracking.

1. Who we are

dalo is a deal tracking service for quick commerce platforms including Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, and Zepto. We operate at dalo.club.

2. What the browser extension does

The dalo browser extension runs on Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. When you visit supported quick commerce platforms, the extension:

• Reads deal prices, discounts, and offer details visible on the page
• Sends this deal data to your dalo account so you can track price changes
• Does not read any personal information, payment details, or account credentials from those platforms
• Does not run on any websites other than Swiggy, Blinkit, and Zepto

3. Information we collect

When you use dalo, we collect:

• Account information — your email address when you sign up, used solely to identify your account
• Deal data — product names, prices, and discount information from supported platforms that you choose to track
• Location preference — the city or area you set in your profile, used to show relevant local deals

We do not collect passwords, payment information, browsing history outside supported platforms, or any other personal data.

4. How we use your information

• To show you deals and price changes in your dalo dashboard
• To send you notifications about deals you are tracking (only if you opt in)
• To improve the accuracy of our deal detection

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to any third party. Ever.

5. Data storage and security

Your account data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database. Deal data is associated with your account and is not shared with other users. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.

6. Third-party services

dalo does not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics SDKs, or tracking pixels. We may use basic server-side logging for debugging purposes only, which does not include personal information.

7. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymised deal price data may be retained for trend analysis.

8. Your rights

You can at any time:

• Access the data we hold about you by contacting us
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Uninstall the browser extension — it stops all data collection immediately

9. Children's privacy

dalo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify users via email or an in-app notice.
